The Halcyon Trim Weight Pocket allows Halcyon divers to move up to 10 lb. (5 lb. per pocket maximum) from their waist belt or Halcyon ACB system to the cylinder. Each pocket is constructed from 1000-denier ballistic nylon with Velcro closure reinforced by a quick-release buckle. Moving weight from a diver’s waist can improve horizontal trim, leading to more efficient propulsion, lower gas consumption, increased bottom time, and greater enjoyment of the dive. Trim weight pockets also counteract the positive weight of near-empty cylinders. By counteracting this positive ballast, the trim weight pocket also encourages a head-up position at the surface.
