Refund policy

Your satisfaction is our top priority. However, due to the specialized nature of diving-related equipment, we cannot offer returns or refunds for a simple change of mind. We only accept returns in cases of manufacturing defects.

Returns

1. Eligibility for Returns: 
   - Returns are accepted only for products with manufacturing defects.
   - Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
   - Products must be unused and in their original packaging. Items that have been used in the water are not eligible for return.
   - Gift cards and books are not eligible for returns.

2. Return Process:
   - To initiate a return, please contact us at info@extremewatersport.com.au with your order number and details about the product and the issue encountered.
   - Upon approval, we will provide instructions on how to return your item.

3. Shipping:
   - You are responsible for covering shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
   - If a refund is approved, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Refunds

1. Refund Process:
   - Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your refund.
   - If approved, a refund will be processed to your original method of payment.

2. Timeframe:
   - Refunds will be processed within a certain number of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

Exchanges

1. Exchanges:
   - We only replace items if they are defective due to manufacturing issues. If you need an exchange for the same item, contact us at info@extremewatersport.com.au.

Dive Trips and Courses

1. Local Dive Trips:
   - Require a 48-hour cancellation notice for a refund or rescheduling.

2. Dive Courses:
   - Not refundable once the course begins.
   - Require a 7-day notice for rescheduling or cancellation. This allows us time to fill your spot.
   - Cancellations within 7 days will incur a 50% charge.
   - Cancellations within 3 days are non-refundable.
   - A $50 fee will be charged for rescheduling.

3. International and Interstate Dive Trips:
   - Subject to different policies, which will be stated in each specific trip's details.
