Explore by region
Follow the coastline.
The current guides focus on the peninsula, Port Phillip and the nearby offshore wrecks. Choose a region to explore its sites.
Bay-facing piers and the Western Port coast.
Mornington Peninsula
The peninsula guides connect Rye and Blairgowrie’s pier settings with Mornington’s working harbour and Flinders on Western Port. Portsea Pier has a separate works update while access is closed.
Boat destinations within the bay and its entrance.
Port Phillip Bay / Heads
From Portsea Hole and the stone ring of Pope’s Eye to Eliza Ramsden, Hanging Gardens and Rip Bank, these guides explore distinct places around the bay and its entrance. Each keeps its own locality and access context.
Ocean Grove’s offshore wreck and the Lonsdale walls.
Bellarine Peninsula
ex-HMAS Canberra lies offshore from Ocean Grove. Farther east, Paradise Wall, Foggy Reef, Party Point and North Wall are separate named destinations within the broader Lonsdale Wall system.
Historic wrecks outside Port Phillip Heads.
Bass Strait / Offshore
J4 Submarine and SS Coogee tell different stories in the Ships’ Graveyard. Their guides distinguish historical seabed descriptions from surviving wreck structure and present-day observations.
