The photographed sign directs divers beneath the pier only and excludes the boating, boat-pier and slipway areas. The original sign is shown below without redrawing its boundaries. Check the current panel and any notices when you arrive; the marina remains an active boating environment.

The BYS panel photographed on 7 Sep 2026 directs diving immediately beneath the pier only. It also requires a dive flag and identifies the diver platform or shore as entry locations. Boat traffic is a central consideration here, not a minor detail of a shallow dive.
Keep out of the signed boating areas. The panel excludes diving in the boat-pier area, boating zone and near the slipway. Read its current version on site; neither these photographs nor the locality map define a navigable boundary.

A gangway connects the public pier to the dedicated diver pontoon. Extreme Watersport identifies this platform as the entry location. A small ladder is present, but Extreme Watersport does not recommend using it to enter the water. These observations do not prescribe an alternative entry technique.

Two parking areas
The published address is 2900 Point Nepean Road. Extreme Watersport’s 7 Sep 2026 field record distinguishes the small top carpark from the bottom parking area outside the yacht club. Member parking beyond the gate is not public diver parking.
Extreme Watersport reports all-day parking in the top carpark, with relatively few spaces. The photographed approach down to the pier includes timber stairs. No parking-limit sign is legible in this batch, so check posted restrictions rather than treating this observation as an unrestricted-parking guarantee.
Extreme Watersport identifies the parking outside the yacht-club gate as public. Parking inside the gate is for members, not visiting divers. An open boom does not change that distinction. Check the current signs before parking or unloading.

The public bottom carpark outside the member-access gate is the starting point recorded on 7 September 2026. From here, a small trolley carries assembled gear along the right-hand public jetty to the diver platform.
The top carpark is not a continuous trolley route. You can put on your wetsuit and assemble your equipment at the car, but the stairs down towards the pier mean carrying your gear through that section. Then follow the public jetty to the diver platform.
The sequence above covers preparation and access to the diver pontoon, based on local information supplied by Extreme Watersport. Actual exit use has not been documented for this guide. No parking fee or bottom-carpark time limit is asserted.
