Melbourne Dive Club – Dive More, Save More, Stay Connected
The Extreme Watersport Melbourne Dive Club is built for divers who want to keep diving after certification, meet reliable dive buddies, and get more value from their time in the water. Based on the Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne, our club combines free guided shore dives, practical member savings, and a genuine local dive community.
Ideal for newly certified divers, casual local divers, and anyone who wants more time in the water without diving alone.
Why Join the Extreme Watersport Dive Club?
A good dive club should do three things well: help you dive more, help you save more, and help you stay connected. That’s exactly what this membership is built for.
Join our guided shore dives every weekend and keep building confidence in local conditions with experienced support.
Membership includes a 20-fill air card, giving you instant value and a very good excuse to keep diving regularly.
Get member pricing on most retail gear, with up to 15% off selected items. Some low-margin brands or items may be excluded.
Members get better hire pricing, making spontaneous local dives and extra practice much easier to justify.
Keep your gear maintained properly and save on servicing at the same time. Good habits, less pain.
Meet local divers, find buddies, join weekend dives, and stay active after certification instead of drifting off after one course.
How the Dive Club Works
The club is designed to be simple. You join, start using your included air fills, and jump into the regular weekend dive rhythm. It works especially well for divers who want a clear path from “just certified” to “comfortable local diver”.
- Guided shore dives: Free every weekend, weather dependent
- Beginner friendly: Newly certified divers are welcome
- Boat dives: Boat tickets and equipment hire are separate where applicable
- Certification requirements: Some boat dives or specific sites may require a minimum certification level depending on conditions and dive site
- Future trips: We’re building local and interstate trip opportunities, with members getting early updates when they launch
- Social side: Casual post-dive catch-ups, club updates, and community-style diving without the weird forced-corporate vibe
Membership Price & Included Value
The current annual membership is set at a very friendly entry point for local divers who want both savings and actual diving opportunities. At $150 per year, the club is designed to pay for itself quickly if you dive regularly.

Who the Melbourne Dive Club Is For
This club is best suited to divers who want to keep diving regularly, especially after finishing a beginner course. It’s not aimed at trying to force every diver into the same box. It’s for people who want a strong local dive rhythm, practical value, and a social environment where everyone can actually get in the water together.
Perfect if you’ve just finished Open Water and want more guided practice instead of stopping after your course.
Ideal for divers on the Mornington Peninsula or Melbourne side who want regular shore dives without organizing everything from scratch.
Great for divers who are not chasing tech training yet, but want stronger ocean skills, better habits, and a local community.
Start with a Course, Then Keep Diving
One of the best uses of this club is as your “what next?” answer after certification. If you’re learning to dive in Melbourne, the Dive Club gives you a practical path to stay active, improve faster, and keep enjoying local diving on the Mornington Peninsula.
What Club Diving Looks Like
The best part of a good dive club is that it actually gets you in the water. Here’s a glimpse of what club diving looks like at Extreme Watersport — guided shore dives, local conditions, familiar faces, and a lot more actual diving after certification.
