Open Water Scuba Diver
The Open Water Scuba Diver course is the first step in your underwater adventure, offering the foundational skills and knowledge required to become a certified scuba diver. This course combines comprehensive academic learning with hands-on in-water training to ensure you are confident and competent in the open water. Ideal for beginners, this course emphasizes safety, enjoyment, and responsible diving practices.
Course Structure:
- Self-Paced Online Theory Study: Learn the theoretical aspects of scuba diving, including dive planning, equipment use, underwater communication, and safety procedures. Complete this portion at your convenience through our user-friendly online platform.
- Three Full Days of Practical Sessions:
- Day 1: Confined Water Training: Develop and practice essential scuba skills in a controlled water environment, such as a pool, under the direct supervision of an experienced instructor.
- Day 2: Open Water Shore Dive: Apply what you've learned in real-world conditions with open water shore dives to build your confidence and proficiency.
- Day 3: Open Water Boat Dive: Further your skills and experience with open water boat dives, allowing you to explore more diverse underwater environments.
Course Highlights:

- Diving Equipment: Gain hands-on experience with diving gear, including how to assemble, maintain, and use your equipment effectively.

Course Requirements:
- Minimum Age: 18 years old, or 12 with parental consent.
- Health Requirements: Ability to meet the medical requirements for scuba diving.
- Swimming Skills: Basic swimming ability and comfort in the water.
- Equipment: Students need to purchase/provide their own snorkeling system (mask, snorkel, boots, and fins). Students will receive a 10% discount on any equipment purchased in-store.

- Total Duration: Approximately 16-20 hours, including online theory and three full days of practical sessions (confined water, shore dives, and boat dives).
