Computer Nitrox Diver
The Computer Nitrox Diver course offers divers the opportunity to enhance their underwater experiences by using enriched air nitrox (EANx), focusing on mixtures between 21% and 40% oxygen. This course combines self-paced online learning with practical in-classroom gas analysis, equipping divers with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely plan and execute dives using nitrox and dive computers.
Course Structure:
- Self-Paced Online Theory Study: Complete the theoretical component of the course at your own pace. Topics include the basics and benefits of nitrox, gas mixes, the use of dive computers, and managing oxygen exposure.
- In-Classroom Gas Analysis Study: Hands-on practice with oxygen analyzers to verify tank mixes, along with practical exercises in planning dives using nitrox.

Course Requirements:
- Minimum Age:18 years old, or 12 with parental consent.
- Certification Prerequisite:Open Water Diver certification or equivalent.
- Course Duration:Approximately 4-6 hours, including both online theory and in-classroom practical sessions.
- Equipment:Students are required to have a dive computer capable of handling nitrox mixtures.
Upon successful completion of the Computer Nitrox Diver course, divers will be certified to use nitrox mixtures up to 40% oxygen, allowing for longer bottom times and increased safety margins.
