Parks Victoria gives Party Point its own chapter and coordinate in the Lonsdale Wall group. Its proximity to Paradise Wall does not make the two names interchangeable. The separate projecting-wall description and an independently titled club dive account support a useful destination page.

Party Point’s distinguishing feature is a near-vertical face projecting from the wall line. The official guide describes recurring overhangs at intervals of about 6–9 m down the face. That spacing describes the rock formation; it is not the depth of the wall top or a set of recommended dive levels.
