The Cressi 30 m Finger Reel is a lightweight plastic option for divers who need more deployment range than a 15 metre spool. The additional orange line makes it suitable for sending a surface marker buoy from greater depth or carrying a compact backup line for navigation and safety procedures.
A simple central finger loop gives direct control of payout and retrieval without the handle and axle of a full-size dive reel. The robust plastic spool is easy to stow and adds little weight to a BCD. Keep the line wound evenly and inspect it for abrasion before relying on the reel for an ascent marker deployment.
