Pre-Compressed Neoprene
High-density neoprene compressed from 7 mm to 4 mm for excellent thermal insulation with minimal buoyancy change at depth.
Liquid Seal Technology
External Liquid Seal coating and internal seam reinforcement create a durable double-sealed waterproof construction.
SiTech® Valve System
Side-activated rotating inflator valve with adjustable shoulder dump valve for precise buoyancy control.
Cold-Water Ready
Soft neoprene socks, reinforced construction and included hood make the Desert ready for demanding cold-water diving.
Warmth Without the Complexity
The Cressi Desert is designed for divers who want the warmth of compressed neoprene with the comfort and simplicity of a standard-size drysuit. Unlike trilaminate drysuits, much of the insulation comes from the suit itself, often reducing the amount of thermal insulation required underneath while maintaining excellent flexibility and comfort.
Designed For Cold-Water Exploration
Whether you're diving Melbourne, Port Phillip Bay or the Mornington Peninsula, the Cressi Desert provides dependable warmth, durable construction and reliable dry performance for recreational cold-water diving.

Cressi Desert FAQ
Is the Cressi Desert made to measure?
No. The Cressi Desert is supplied in standard men's sizes only and cannot be made to measure.
Is compressed neoprene warmer than a trilaminate drysuit?
Yes. Because the Desert is constructed from pre-compressed neoprene, much of its insulation comes from the suit itself. Many divers find they require less thermal insulation underneath compared with a trilaminate drysuit, although the ideal undergarment still depends on water temperature and personal cold tolerance.
Does the Cressi Desert include boots?
No. The Desert is supplied with integrated soft neoprene socks designed to be worn inside rock boots or neoprene dive boots.
What valves are fitted to the Desert?
The Desert is fitted with a SiTech® side-activated rotating inflator valve and an adjustable shoulder dump valve for reliable buoyancy control.
Is the Cressi Desert suitable for Melbourne diving?
Yes. The Desert was designed specifically for cold-water diving and is well suited to Victorian conditions when paired with appropriate thermal insulation.
Can you help me choose the correct size?
Absolutely. Contact us before ordering and we'll help compare your measurements with the official Cressi size chart to recommend the most suitable size.
