Goa provides Air, Nitrox and Gauge modes. Standard recreational profiles are covered in Air mode, enriched-air diving is handled through Nitrox mode, and Gauge mode supplies depth and time information for divers working from a separate plan. By leaving out specialised functions that may never be used, the three-mode structure stays approachable for a diver who values consistency over extensive progression features.

During a typical recreational dive, the backlit display uses large digits to keep depth, dive time, water temperature and no-decompression limits prominent.
