Suunto D4f is a focused freedive computer for people who want depth, time and surface information without paying for scuba decompression features they will not use. At 86 g it remains comfortable for training, snorkelling and spearfishing, while the apnea timer supports structured breathing practice away from the water.

During a session it tracks current and maximum depth, dive time and surface intervals, then stores detailed profiles for later review. Its strength is specialisation, not breadth: scuba divers should choose Zoop Novo, D5 or another decompression computer.
