Product Overview

About This Product

Suunto Tank POD adds wireless cylinder-pressure data to a compatible Suunto dive computer. It is a practical upgrade for divers who want pressure, supported gas alerts and consumption information on the same screen as their dive data, while keeping the computer platform they already know.

The compact transmitter fits a suitable regulator high-pressure port and pairs when the system is pressurised and the computer is brought close. It is supplied oxygen-cleaned and can support more than one cylinder where the selected computer and dive mode allow it. This is not a stand-alone pressure instrument: compatibility, the supplied flow restrictor and correct fitting all need to be confirmed before diving, and appropriate backup instrumentation remains part of a sound dive setup.

Learn More

Tank POD is the right addition when you want cylinder pressure integrated into a compatible Suunto screen without changing the computer you already use. Before ordering, match the computer model, software, first-stage high-pressure port and intended number of cylinders. We can also help arrange correct fitting and pairing so the system is checked before the first dive.

Product Help

Frequently asked questions

Which Suunto computers work with the Tank POD?

Current compatible families include Suunto Nautic, Nautic S, Ocean, D5, EON Steel, EON Steel Black and EON Core. Check the exact computer and current software before ordering.

Is the Tank POD a dive computer on its own?

No. It measures cylinder pressure and sends the data to a paired compatible Suunto dive computer. It has no customer-facing pressure display of its own.

Can I replace the battery myself?

No. Suunto states that the battery should be replaced by an authorised Suunto Service Centre.

Can I use more than one Tank POD?

Yes, where the compatible Suunto computer supports multiple Tank PODs for the selected dive mode and gas setup. Capacity varies by computer, so confirm the intended configuration first.

Can it be used with enriched air?

The Tank POD is supplied cleaned for oxygen service. Gas handling, regulator compatibility and oxygen-clean procedures still need to match your training and complete equipment configuration.

Should a dive technician install it?

Suunto recommends installation or removal by an authorised dealer or trained dive expert. The correct supplied flow restrictor must be fitted for direct-port or hose installation.
