Suunto
Suunto Vyper Novo suits divers who want a large, straightforward display and more capability than an entry-level computer without moving to a colour rechargeable model. Air, Nitrox, Gauge and Freedive modes, a built-in compass and gas switching for up to three gases give it room to follow a diver beyond an initial course.
Optional wireless pressure adds current cylinder pressure and remaining air time on the same display. Its older-generation strengths are physical clarity and a familiar Suunto menu system; the trade-offs are the monochrome display, separate USB cable and accessory-based bungee/boot setup. Compare Zoop Novo for simpler value or EON Core/D5 for colour and app-first connectivity.
High-contrast data and a backlight in a robust dedicated format.
Up to three gases with oxygen to 99%.
Integrated tilt-compensated 3D navigation.
Add current pressure and remaining air time wirelessly.
