About This Product

The Thunderbird S80 is the full-size recreational aluminium single in this range. Its familiar 80 cu ft format, 11.1 L water capacity and 207 bar working pressure make it a natural reference point for recreational divers, operators and rental-cylinder replacement discussions.

Compare the S80 with the more compact S40 when physical size and weight are leading considerations, or with Catalina S80 and suitable Faber steel singles when comparing material and pressure. No Valve supplies the cylinder body, while D/K Valve includes the valve with the order.

Thunderbird’s S80 draws on the aluminium-cylinder manufacturing heritage of the Graham, North Carolina operation Thunderbird acquired from Luxfer in 2021. Cylinders are shipped unassembled, with the D/K valve packed separately and not installed for transit.
