Product Overview

About This Product

The Halcyon Symbios HUD is a complete dive computer positioned at the mask, not a passive repeater that depends on a wrist handset. It keeps depth, time, decompression, compass and configured system information available with a glance, which can reduce the need to look away from a task, subject or team.

That independence does not make every connected function automatic. Tank pressure and trim require a compatible Tank Pod; live rebreather and buddy information require supported Symbios equipment; and the mounting system must suit the selected mask and eye position. The HUD is most useful when those fit and configuration details are treated as part of the purchase rather than afterthoughts.

Learn More

The right question is not simply whether a HUD is technically capable. It is whether the mask, eye position and connected equipment can be configured cleanly for the diver. Treat the mount and data sources as part of the system selection.

Product Help

Frequently asked questions

Is the Symbios HUD a complete dive computer?

Yes. It can perform normal dive-computer functions without a separate handset.

Does it fit every dive mask?

No. The dedicated support cannot be installed on every mask, so mask and mount compatibility need to be checked before ordering.

Can it show tank pressure?

Yes, when paired with a compatible Symbios Tank Pod or supported connected system.

Can it be used with a rebreather?

Yes, for supported CCR and fixed-setpoint workflows. Live rebreather information depends on compatible connected equipment.

Will the display block normal vision?

The mount is designed to position the display outside the primary field of view while keeping it available with a glance. Correct adjustment is important.

Does it need a Symbios Silver or Blue handset?

No. A handset can complement the setup, but the HUD functions as a standalone dive computer.
