Product Overview

About This Product

The Halcyon Symbios Silver Handset is built for divers whose information needs extend beyond depth, time and decompression. It combines a clear wrist-mounted display with open-circuit, mixed-gas, sidemount and rebreather modes, then connects those functions to compatible Symbios pressure, trim and CCR data sources.

Its value is strongest in a planned system. A Tank Pod adds live cylinder pressure and trim feedback, while supported rebreather integration can bring PO2 and operating information onto the same interface. Silver still functions as a complete dive computer on its own, but connected features depend on the matching hardware, correct pairing and a configuration suited to the diver's training.

Features

Key capabilities

Connected CCR capability

Receive live information from supported Symbios and compatible connected rebreather systems.

Mixed-gas decompression

Buhlmann ZH-L16C with adjustable gradient factors supports planned open-circuit and CCR diving.

Tank Pod integration

Add compatible wireless cylinder-pressure and trim information without turning the handset into a permanently fixed setup.

Training and simulation

Use device and app-based tools to rehearse settings, gas changes and simulated dive scenarios.

Highlights

Product Help

Frequently asked questions

Who is the Symbios Silver best suited to?

Technical and rebreather divers who want a capable standalone computer with a path to connected pressure, trim and supported CCR information.

Does Silver work without a Tank Pod or rebreather connection?

Yes. It functions as a complete dive computer, but pressure, trim and live rebreather data require compatible paired hardware.

What separates Silver from Symbios Blue?

Silver supports wireless CCR and CCR Pod integration. Blue retains fixed-setpoint CCR mode but does not connect wirelessly to CCR systems.

Can it be used for sidemount diving?

Yes. It includes a dedicated sidemount mode designed to work with paired Symbios Tank Pods.

Which decompression model does it use?

Buhlmann ZH-L16C with adjustable gradient factors.
