About this product

Air-Travel 800 solves a different problem from FUTURE 1000. It keeps the same 340 N propulsion, 1.6 m/s maximum speed, 150 m depth rating and control system, but replaces the fixed battery with eight removable 97 Wh segments forming a 780 Wh modular system.

That change makes battery handling and travel planning the priority. The trade-off is lower endurance than FUTURE 1000: published optimal runtime is above 270 minutes, with range above 12.1 km. The distinction is its specialised modular battery construction rather than additional speed or thrust.

The familiar FUTURE features remain: magnetic propulsion, one-handed controls, booster and reverse functions, remaining burn-time information, external charging and adjustable trim. Standard and With Power Converter variants share the same scooter performance; the converter version adds selectable output for compatible external equipment.

Published runtime and range figures use Seacraft testing with a diver in a twin 12 L set and drysuit in fresh water, at approximately 45 m/min for optimal-runtime and range figures. Actual results vary with speed, drag, equipment, conditions and temperature. FUTURE provides gears 1–9, booster and reverse, together with battery and remaining-runtime information. Seacraft publishes operating temperatures from -5°C to +45°C, storage from -25°C to +50°C and charging from +10°C to +40°C.
