About this product

GHOST 1500 moves beyond the 160 mm FUTURE platform into a larger 208 mm scooter built around duration, depth and sustained technical use. Its fixed 1500 Wh battery supports more than 525 minutes at the published optimal-speed test point and a range above 23.6 km.

The maximum published speed and static thrust remain 1.6 m/s and 340 N, so the step from FUTURE is not simply a faster motor. GHOST adds a larger energy reserve, a 220 m depth rating and a more substantial 22.9 kg configured platform for extended dives and demanding expedition plans.

Magnetic propulsion, one-handed controls, reverse and booster functions, remaining burn-time information, external charging and adjustable trim carry across from the wider Seacraft system. Choose the With Power Converter variant when compatible external equipment needs selectable power from the scooter battery during the dive.

Published runtime and range figures use Seacraft testing with a diver in a twin 12 L set and drysuit in fresh water, at approximately 45 m/min for optimal-runtime and range figures. Actual results vary with speed, drag, equipment, conditions and temperature. GHOST provides gears 1–9, booster and reverse, together with battery and remaining-runtime information. Seacraft publishes operating temperatures from -5°C to +45°C, storage from -25°C to +50°C and charging from +10°C to +40°C.

The With Power Converter variant adds the installed converter; the matching E/O output cable is selected separately for the intended equipment connection.

GHOST 1500 is the first step into Seacraft’s 208 mm extended-duration platform. It offers a substantial increase in battery capacity, runtime, range and depth over FUTURE without moving to the maximum-duration GHOST 2000. The deciding question between the two GHOST models is energy reserve, not speed or thrust.

How does GHOST 1500 differ from GHOST 2000?

Both share the same published speed, thrust, depth, dimensions and configured weight. GHOST 2000 increases battery capacity from 1500 Wh to 2000 Wh for longer runtime and range.

When should I compare GHOST 1500 with FUTURE 1000?

Compare them when the dive plan is pushing beyond FUTURE duration or depth. GHOST 1500 adds substantially more energy and a 220 m rating, but it is also a larger and heavier scooter.

What does the Power Converter option add?

It adds selectable 6–12 V power output for compatible external equipment from the scooter battery system. The suitable Seacraft E/O output cable is selected separately for the intended connection.

Does the converter change propulsion performance?

No change is published for the core 1500 Wh battery, speed, thrust, range or depth. The option changes the external-power capability and package code.

How should I interpret the endurance figures?

The published figures use Seacraft testing at approximately 45 m/min with a twinset-and-drysuit diver in fresh water. Speed, drag, equipment, temperature and water conditions affect real-world results.

What is the normal lead time?

GHOST 1500 is a special-order product with a usual lead time of 2–3 weeks. Contact us before ordering if timing is important.
