About this product

GHOST 2000 is selected for energy reserve. Its fixed 2000 Wh battery produces the longest published runtime and range in Seacraft’s current scooter range: more than 700 minutes at the optimal-speed test point and more than 31.5 km under the same conditions.

It shares the main propulsion and physical platform of GHOST 1500—1.6 m/s maximum speed, 340 N static thrust, 220 m depth, the same dimensions and a 22.9 kg configured weight. The additional cost does not buy a faster scooter; it buys another 500 Wh of capacity and the corresponding increase in duration.

For extended technical, exploration, expedition and project-style diving, that reserve can simplify planning or reduce how close the intended dive comes to the scooter’s published envelope. Standard and With Power Converter variants keep the same core performance, with the converter option adding selectable power for compatible external equipment.

Published runtime and range figures use Seacraft testing with a diver in a twin 12 L set and drysuit in fresh water, at approximately 45 m/min for optimal-runtime and range figures. Actual results vary with speed, drag, equipment, conditions and temperature. GHOST provides gears 1–9, booster and reverse, together with battery and remaining-runtime information. Seacraft publishes operating temperatures from -5°C to +45°C, storage from -25°C to +50°C and charging from +10°C to +40°C.

The With Power Converter variant adds the installed converter; the matching E/O output cable is selected separately for the intended equipment connection.

Choose GHOST 2000 when the extra 500 Wh over GHOST 1500 has a clear planning purpose. The two models are equally fast and share thrust, depth, dimensions and configured weight; the 2000 model creates its value through longer published runtime and range. For dives that do not need that reserve, GHOST 1500 keeps the same platform at a lower price.

Why does GHOST 2000 cost more if it is not faster?

Its fixed battery increases capacity from 1500 Wh to 2000 Wh. The benefit is longer published runtime and range, while speed, thrust, depth, dimensions and configured weight remain the same.

Who should choose GHOST 2000 over GHOST 1500?

Choose it when the dive plan genuinely benefits from the additional 500 Wh reserve—for example, longer exploration, repeated long runs or projects where maximum duration is central to the configuration.

What does the Power Converter option add?

It adds selectable 6–12 V power output for compatible external equipment from the scooter battery system. The suitable Seacraft E/O output cable is selected separately for the intended connection.

Does the converter reduce the published scooter range?

The complete-set specifications do not assign different core range, speed, thrust or depth figures to the converter variant. External equipment draws from the battery, so the complete dive plan should account for its load.

How should I interpret the endurance figures?

The published figures use Seacraft testing at approximately 45 m/min with a twinset-and-drysuit diver in fresh water. Speed, drag, equipment, external power use, temperature and water conditions affect real-world results.

What is the normal lead time?
